What does it mean to be an activist?

Gill Coombs, Emma Hopkins and Sylvia Dell explore activism, what inspires us and how do we respond to our uncertainties, self doubt and judgements?  How do we take care of ourselves as well as addressing the wider issues? Come and share some thoughts on being effective and keeping the balance.

Accessing your inner resilience

Taking action to bring about change can be exhilarating, overwhelming and exhausting. Claire Milne will lead an experiential journey around holding healthy boundaries to stay grounded, avoiding burnout and awaken our state of natural abundance, balance and sharing our gifts in the world.

Looking after our piece of the land

Josh Levene explores what we can do to conserve and restore the places we love with reference to the work he is leading on the River Dart.

Challenging inequality

Jonathan Elliott of Talk Action invites us to identify it and what more could we do to address it.

Foraging for wild food

Myrtle Cooper leads a walk from the front door to forage for wild food in the local area.

Beauty from waste

Sarah Hughes helps us create something useful and beautiful from what we might otherwise throw away – on the Mezzanine.
