Borrow tools, camping gear, gardening equipment, sewing machines and so much more from our library of things in Totnes. We need volunteers to help staff the share shed and help us spread the word via social media, newsletters etc.
Our aims are to inform and campaign for better understanding of the damaging effects to health on humans and the environment from the increasing levels of Electro Magnetic Frequencies e.g. 5G, mobile phones and masts, WiFi, Smart meters.
Monthly meetings are held in central Totnes – all welcome.
We campaign and take action to reduce single use and unnecessary plastic, as well as reduce the pollution and litter it creates. Please join us to take action and spread awareness.
At The ReSTORE our volunteers repair and upcycle furniture and other items to sell in our shop at ‘The Shops At Dartington’. We share our skills involved – from sanding and painting to caning and upholstery. We always welcome new volunteers either to work in our workshop or help run the shop – no previous experience is necessary, but if you have any that’s great! We are open Tuesday to Sunday 10am to 4.30pm (closed Mondays)
The ReStore has been running for 6 years as a social enterprise project. We are part of the Devon Refurnish group and also have links with the Totnes ShareShed.
